The device integrates a GPS receiver, a vehicle diagnostic transceiver, a cellular GSM-GPRS radio module, and a resistive touch screen display into a single enclosure. The device operates autonomously and collects and stores trip information as well as vehicle performance information that includes fuel economy, emissions and various other parameters that you can select. The device also includes a messaging function that receives messages from the OttoFleet Management administrator, and that allows the driver to send preset messages back to the OttoFleet administrator through the touch screen interface without having to text a message. One touch emergency messaging is also provided that will automatically trigger email events when the message is received at the OttoFleet web server.
